Metamorphosis can be defined as a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means. We begin our lives in an ocean of this - change. 

As small children we absorb tons of new and unfamiliar information everyday and, given that we’re still forming into who we are, every new body of data affects and changes us, (often noticeably). 

Parents are the first guides we have to assist us in understanding the mountains of new information so that, as we digest the info, we are affected and change in healthy and productive ways.
